CBT: About Me

Every mind has a silver lining

If you've never tried CBT before, it can be hard to know what to expect. I've included some of my most frequently asked questions below to give you a good idea of what a session involves, but if you'd like to find out more, just give me a call.

What is CBT?

CBT is a type of talking therapy. It's based on the idea that the way you think about something can affect how you feel and how you behave. By teaching you the coping skills you need to deal with different problems, for example by helping you to ignore that inner voice that's telling you 'you're not good enough'

What does a session involve?

We'll talk online and over the phone. We'll look at any negative thinking patterns and how they affect you, for example avoiding people because you're worried that you'll embarrass yourself.

Love Yourself

Who can benefit from CBT?

Anyone who struggles to deal with stress can benefit from this type of therapy. I offer individual sessions, couples therapy and also provide stress and wellbeing workshops to organisations & individuals. If you're not sure if it's for you, just ask!
